The Baccarat Louxor Crystal Collection is luxurious series of products from French crystal brand, known for its design and amazing appeal. The Louxor crystalware collection was created for the Baccarat brand by the French designer Thomas Bastide. The collection draws its inspiration from the grandeur of ancient Egyptian architecture and the precision of gem cutting. The artist developed a unique design, which the brand’s craftsmen embodied in luxurious crystalware and bar accessories. The name of the collection was taken in honor of Luxor, an ancient Egyptian city located in the capital of the pharaohs.  This influence is evident in the pyramid-like cuts and geometric patterns that adorn each piece, giving the crystal a highly faceted, jewel-like appearance.

The Baccarat Louxor collection includes vases, table accessories such as crystal pencil holders in both clear and black crystal, change trays or vide-poches in both clear and black crystal, picture frames, tumblers, table lamps, and a decanter made of thick crystal, with surfaces partially decorated in an impressive relief. The Baccarat Louxor glasses are divided into two parts. The upper one remains smooth, demonstrating to the viewer the refined beauty of the purest French crystal. The lower one, on the contrary, is faceted, decorated with powerful heavy carving. A drink poured into such a glass is also visually cut in two and seems to acquire a two-layer structure. This effect looks unusual and will be the highlight of the evening.

The crystal chosen for the production of Louxor is transparent, but some accessories, like Baccarat vases, are also made in colored crystal. This material is suitable for any type of drink, does not alter their color, and does not affect the taste.
