Veronese vase was blown for the first time in 1921, thanks to the intuition of the art director of Venini 1921-1925: the painter Vittorio Zecchin. A 1580 painting by Paolo Veronese, โThe Annunciation of the Virginโ, inspired the artist to create this glasswork which has achieved such great success that it became the Venini logo and, with time, an icon of the company.
