H Deco Black Porcelain Mini Cups for Tea and Coffee
The Hermès H Deco Small Cup n°2 Set for 2 comprises two black porcelain mini cups designed for tea and coffee service. Their compact format makes them ideal for small servings and elegant coffee or tea moments, while the distinctive black finish gives the set a bold and sophisticated presence on the table.
The cups feature white geometric decoration arranged around the iconic double-H “Lift” motif. Inspired by the Art Deco ironwork of Hermès’ Parisian stores, the pattern gives the compact cups a distinctive architectural character and creates a striking contrast against the black porcelain.
The double-H motif recalls the elevator and main entrance door of the historic Hermès store at 24 Faubourg Saint-Honoré in Paris. The two interlaced Hs also echo the union of Émile Hermès and Julie Hollande in 1900.
Designed by Benoit Pierre Emery, the mini cups combine a compact format with the distinctive visual identity of H Deco. The decoration is screen-printed and applied by hand, and the pieces are made in France.
Care Instructions
The cups can occasionally be washed in the dishwasher, although Hermès recommends hand washing with a soft, non-abrasive sponge to help preserve the beauty and brilliance of the decoration. They are not microwave-safe due to the presence of precious materials.
