H Deco Porcelain Breakfast Service Set
The Hermès H Deco Breakfast Cup and Saucer Set for 2 comprises two porcelain breakfast cups with matching saucers, designed for a generous and elegant breakfast or morning coffee service. With a 34 cl capacity, the cups offer a larger format than the H Deco coffee and tea cups.
The generous proportions make the set particularly suited to breakfast drinks and relaxed morning rituals, while the matching saucers complete the presentation. The black-and-white decoration brings the distinctive graphic character of H Deco to the table.
The decoration features the iconic double-H “Lift” motif at the centre, framed by intricate geometric elements inspired by the Art Deco ironwork of Hermès’ Parisian stores. This architectural influence gives the breakfast service its distinctive visual identity.
The double-H motif recalls the elevator and main entrance door of the historic Hermès store at 24 Faubourg Saint-Honoré in Paris. The two interlaced Hs also echo the union of Émile Hermès and Julie Hollande in 1900.
Designed by Benoit Pierre Emery, the breakfast cups and saucers combine generous proportions with the distinctive visual identity of H Deco. The decoration is screen-printed and applied by hand, and the pieces are made in France.
Care Instructions
The cups and saucers can occasionally be washed in the dishwasher, although Hermès recommends hand washing with a soft, non-abrasive sponge to help preserve the beauty and brilliance of the decoration. They are not microwave-safe due to the presence of precious materials.
