H Deco Porcelain Teapot for 6 Cups
The Hermès H Deco Teapot is crafted in porcelain and designed for serving tea for six cups. Its generous format makes it ideal for elegant tea service, while the distinctive black-and-white decoration brings the architectural character of H Deco to the table.
The teapot features the iconic double-H “Lift” motif on the lid, surrounded by intricate geometric decoration inspired by the Art Deco ironwork of Hermès’ Parisian stores. The contrasting black-and-white pattern creates a strong graphic presence across the porcelain.
The double-H motif recalls the elevator and main entrance door of the historic Hermès store at 24 Faubourg Saint-Honoré in Paris. The two interlaced Hs also echo the union of Émile Hermès and Julie Hollande in 1900.
Designed by Benoit Pierre Emery, the H Deco teapot combines practical tea service with the distinctive architectural identity of the collection. The decoration is screen-printed and applied by hand, and the teapot is made in France.
Care Instructions
The teapot can occasionally be washed in the dishwasher, although Hermès recommends hand washing with a soft, non-abrasive sponge to help preserve the beauty and brilliance of the decoration. It is not microwave-safe due to the presence of precious materials.
