The Venini Bolle Bottles, conceived by Finnish designer Tapio Wirkkala in 1966, epitomize the fusion of art and technique in glassmaking. Inspired by natural landscapes, these vases capture the essence of their surroundings with vibrant and harmonious colors.

Each Bolle Bottle is a masterpiece of handblown Murano glass, created using the traditional incalmo technique. This method involves merging two molten glass pieces of different colors to form a seamless dual-color effect, resulting in a striking visual contrast and depth. The unique process, where two glass elements are fused together while in a liquid state, allows for the creation of complex color patterns and gradients within a single piece.

The collection features a series of five bottles, each characterized by its wide-bellied shape and intricate color bands. The base of each bottle features a raised element, reminiscent of a water drop’s bounce, showcasing the expert craftsmanship of Venini’s glassblowers. This distinct detail highlights the meticulous handcrafting involved in every piece.
