Freeze, Spindrift, City, Manhattan, Snow – complex, spiral-twisted geometric patterns cover the white porcelain bodies with surprising surface textures, transforming them into sculptural objects with an innovative 3D effect.
Triangles become frosty flowers, crystals are shaped into snowflakes, cubic objects create a skyline. This blends with a dash of poetry when light refracts on the surface. Beautiful pieces on their own or as part of a decorative vase set.

Cairn Young, born in 1963, is one of the most prominent representatives of the London design scene. Young‘s innovative, emotional designs are internationally acclaimed because they show his pronounced feeling for iconic volumes and plastic shapes.
Young has been working for Rosenthal since 1998. He developed the sensational collection of table accessories “Table Wear” in collaboration with his partner Robin Platt, a successful partnership which is a number of years in the making, and also the modern table service “Yono”. The designer duo saw its breakthrough onto the international scene with a range of furniture designs for Driade. Since 2003, Cairn Young has been working alone on a series of individual projects.
