H Deco Porcelain Tea Service Set
The Hermès H Deco Tea Cup and Saucer Set for 2 comprises two porcelain tea cups with matching saucers, designed for serving tea in an elegant and coordinated setting. The larger cup format provides a generous 16 cl capacity, making the set well suited to refined tea service at home or when entertaining guests.
Each cup measures 5.5 cm in height and is paired with a 7.8 cm saucer that completes the presentation. The black-and-white decoration creates a distinctive graphic contrast, bringing the architectural character of the H Deco collection to the tea table.
The decoration features the iconic double-H “Lift” motif at the centre, framed by intricate geometric elements inspired by the Art Deco ironwork of Hermès’ Parisian stores. This architectural influence gives the tea cups and saucers a distinctive visual identity while preserving the elegance of the porcelain.
The double-H motif recalls the elevator and main entrance door of the historic Hermès store at 24 Faubourg Saint-Honoré in Paris. The two interlaced Hs also echo the union of Émile Hermès and Julie Hollande in 1900.
Designed by Benoit Pierre Emery, the tea cups and saucers combine a generous tea-service format with the distinctive visual identity of H Deco. The decoration is screen-printed and applied by hand, and the pieces are made in France.
Care Instructions
The cups and saucers can occasionally be washed in the dishwasher, although Hermès recommends hand washing with a soft, non-abrasive sponge to help preserve the beauty and brilliance of the decoration. They are not microwave-safe due to the presence of precious materials.
