The stunning “Roseraie” tableware is made by Bernardaud and is part of the historic tableware collection “The Ancienne Manufacture Royale”.
Ancienne Manufacture Royale Roseraie is a classic and luxurious white porcelain tableware with soft and romantic botanical motifs. Finished with opulent gold accents, each piece of these exquisite dinnerware adds regal sophistication to a table.
The “Age of Enlightenment” was very fond of flowers, so flowers have consistently been the favorite motif of table design painters.
The style enjoyed a renewed presentation: the foliage became less formal, the bouquets looser, the twigs and cut flowers arranged romantically, poetically. The straight lines give structure and discipline to the exuberance of the small intertwined branches, while golden accents brighten the design and emphasize the delicate shades of the flowers. The collection features identical replicas of original pieces from the 18th and 19th centuries.
Original pieces from this sumptuous collection may be found at the Montmartre Museum in Paris. Handmade in France.
