Since ancient times, hand gestures have been a language of their own, full of expressiveness and symbolism. Our artists have focused on mudras, gestures from yoga and meditation in Hinduism and Buddhism. In Hinduism, there are 24 mudras, each representing an hour of the day and offering different benefits. In Buddhism, these gestures help with meditation and concentration.
Abundance Mudra is inspired by these ancient gestures. This version features a hand decorated with geometric patterns and plant motifs etched on the fingers, resting on a sculpted flower with handmade petals. Different tones of golden luster were used for the etchings, some glazed and others matte. The flower is decorated with shades of yellow, pink, and a hint of gold. Abundance Mudra celebrates life’s richness and expresses gratitude for its gifts.
