H Deco White Porcelain Place Setting
The Hermès H Deco 5-Piece Place Setting is a curated composition by Scopelliti 1887, bringing together five coordinated pieces from the H Deco collection to create a complete place setting for one person.
The composition includes a dinner plate, dessert plate, bread and butter plate, tea cup and tea saucer, all crafted in white porcelain with contrasting black geometric decoration.
The white porcelain provides a refined foundation for the distinctive H Deco pattern, creating a crisp black-and-white composition across the table. Each piece carries the architectural character of the collection, allowing the place setting to move naturally from the main course through dessert and into tea service.
The decoration features the iconic double-H “Lift” motif surrounded by intricate geometric elements inspired by the Art Deco ironwork of Hermès’ Parisian stores. The structured pattern creates a strong visual rhythm while maintaining the elegant character of the porcelain.
The double-H motif recalls the elevator and main entrance door of the historic Hermès store at 24 Faubourg Saint-Honoré in Paris. The two interlaced Hs also echo the union of Émile Hermès and Julie Hollande in 1900.
Designed by Benoit Pierre Emery, the five-piece setting combines coordinated dining and tea service with the distinctive visual identity of H Deco. The decoration is screen-printed and applied by hand, and the pieces are made in France.
Care Instructions
The pieces can occasionally be washed in the dishwasher, although Hermès recommends hand washing with a soft, non-abrasive sponge to help preserve the beauty and brilliance of the decoration. They are not microwave-safe due to the presence of precious materials.
