White Porcelain Dessert Plate with the Iconic Double-H Motif
The Hermès H Deco dessert plate n°1 is a white porcelain plate designed specifically for serving desserts, pastries and sweet creations. Its black geometric decoration gives the plate a distinctive graphic character while maintaining the refined aesthetic of Hermès tableware.
At the centre of the design is the iconic double-H “Lift” motif, surrounded by an intricate geometric pattern. Inspired by the Art Deco ironwork of Hermès’ Parisian stores, the motif is also found on the elevator and main entrance door of the historic Hermès boutique at 24 Faubourg Saint-Honoré in Paris.
The design by Benoit Pierre Emery brings together symmetry, geometric lines and the architectural influence of the Maison. The decoration is screen-printed and applied by hand, and the plate is made in France.
With its elegant format and contrasting black-and-white design, the H Deco dessert plate n°1 is suited to both everyday desserts and more formal table settings. It can be paired with other H Deco pieces to create a coordinated Hermès tableware collection.
Care Instructions
Although the H Deco dessert plate can occasionally be washed in the dishwasher, Hermès recommends hand washing with a soft, non-abrasive sponge to help preserve the beauty and finish of the decoration. Not microwave-safe due to the presence of precious materials.
