The Venini Poliedri Chandelier 951.34 is an iconic spherical chandelier composed of multiple handblown crystal glass Poliedri elements arranged in layers. Originally introduced for the great Venini chandelier designed by Ignazio Gardella, Paolo Venini, and Enrico Peresutti, it was showcased at the 1958 Brussels Expo in the central hall of the Italian Pavilion. This modular design was also the basis for the famous cascading chandelier presented by Venini and Carlo Scarpa at the 1961 Turin Expo “Italia ‘61”. The Poliedri glass elements enable the creation of lighting fixtures in ever-changing forms and sizes. The substantial suspension’s structure is crafted from chromium-plated metal, combining Venetian glass artistry with modern elegance. Part of Venini’s Modular series, the chandelier is available in other sizes; please contact us for further information.
