Nickel-Plated Table Light with Textured Crystal Elements
The Saint Louis Matrice Table Lamp Nickel Plated is a contemporary crystal table lamp designed for consoles, side tables, desks and other indoor surfaces. Its clear crystal body is combined with a nickel-plated aluminium structure and a Japanese paper diffuser, creating a distinctive mix of transparent crystal, metal and soft material.
Diamond and bevel cuts are applied to the crystal by hand, giving the surface a precise geometric texture. The unusual shape comes from the Matrice collection by Kiki Van Eijk, whose design was inspired by the moulds and casts kept in the Saint Louis warehouse.
The nickel-plated finish gives the lamp a cool metallic appearance that works well with marble, glass, dark wood and contemporary furniture. Its 25 cm diameter makes it practical for a living room side table, bedroom surface, entrance console or desk. The Japanese paper diffuser adds a softer visual element to the highly worked crystal and metal structure.
For lighting, the lamp uses a built-in 12W LED with a warm white colour temperature. It is intended for indoor use, has an IP20 rating and is not dimmable. The freestanding format allows it to be placed directly on a suitable surface without requiring wall or ceiling installation.
