The Saint Louis Folia Water Crystal Glass has a contemporary design inspired by nature. Part of the Folia collection, the glass is mouth-blown and hand-cut at Saint Louis, with the engraving extending from the stem into the bowl. This demanding technique creates a distinctive surface that catches and refracts light across the crystal.
The design takes inspiration from the woodland landscape of Lorraine in north-east France, where Saint Louis has its historic roots. Closely arranged conical patterns cover the crystal and create a structured botanical effect. Designer Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance developed the pattern to give the glass a strong connection to nature without compromising its practical shape for everyday table service.
