The Saint Louis Excess Ceiling Light is a contemporary crystal lighting fixture from the Excess collection, designed by Hervé Van der Straeten. It combines mouth-blown and hand-cut crystal with a chrome-plated brass structure.
The Excess collection reinterprets the traditional diamond cut through irregular, asymmetrical crystal facets. The six lights illuminate the faceted crystal elements, creating changing reflections and highlights across the fixture and surrounding space. Its combination of clear crystal and a clean metal structure gives the ceiling light a contemporary appearance without losing the decorative quality associated with French crystal.
The 6-light configuration makes this model suitable for spaces where a full-scale chandelier would be too large. It can work well in a dining area, living room, entrance, bedroom or other interior requiring a decorative central light with a lower visual profile.
