The Saint Louis Excess 20 Light Chandelier is a contemporary crystal lighting piece from the Excess collection, designed by Hervé Van der Straeten. Made in France, it combines mouth-blown and hand-cut crystal with a chrome-plated brass structure. The design reinterprets the traditional Saint Louis diamond cut through an irregular arrangement of crystal elements, creating a distinctive chandelier for large residential and hospitality interiors.
The chandelier features 20 facet-cut crystal hurricanes supported by a sleek central structure. Additional crystal pieces extend across the design, giving the chandelier its characteristic abundance of cut crystal. The irregular facets catch and reflect the light in different directions, creating varied reflections across the chandelier and surrounding room.
The Excess chandelier has substantial proportions suited to spacious interiors. It can be installed above a large dining table, in a grand living room, entrance hall or other area that requires a significant central lighting feature.
