The Lladró Soul Rider Porcelain Sculpture in Limited Edition brings the imaginative world of Spanish artist Dulk into three-dimensional form. Part of the Ephemeral Treasures collection, this distinctive creation introduces Soul Rider as an independent sculpture for the first time, transforming a symbolic guardian from Dulk’s murals into a tangible artwork.
Soul Rider is imagined as a protector of nature and a guide for souls in danger. The character stands upon a flower-shaped skull, representing the threats facing the natural world. His heart-shaped face and banner express love as an answer to fear. These contrasting motifs give the sculpture a deeper narrative, exploring the relationship between humanity and nature through a distinctive visual language.
Every element is carefully rendered, like the engraved flower, decorated clothing and the character’s prominent eyes and ornate beak. A soft palette dominated by blue and cream tones gives the piece a gentle, harmonious appearance.
Created in collaboration with Dulk Studio, the Lladró Soul Rider Porcelain Sculpture was launched in 2024 and handcrafted by Lladró’s Department of Ornamentation.
