This majestic elephant is part of the Origami collection. An animal which, when represented with its trunk upwards, symbolizes luck, prosperity and victory. Like the other sculptures in this series, the work revisits the traditional Japanese art of origami in a contemporary and innovative key, in which the geometric shapes produced by the folds of paper are transformed into facets of great decorative and sculptural strength. Elephant is decorated in an intense shade of blue applied to the matte porcelain.
