The Lalique Zebre Shiny Relief Vase interprets the zebra’s natural geometry through a bold composition of polished crystal stripes. The raised motif follows the vase’s sculptural curves, creating the impression that the animal’s markings are moving around its surface rather than simply decorating it.
Handcrafted in France from clear crystal, the vase relies on contrast between transparency and highly reflective reliefs. Light glides across the polished stripes and changes their visual intensity according to the viewing angle, giving the piece a graphic, almost architectural presence. Limited to only 48 examples, it is conceived as a numbered collector’s work rather than a conventional decorative vase.
Its imposing 45 cm height makes it particularly suitable for a wide entrance console, a low living-room sideboard, a dedicated pedestal or an open architectural landing.
The Zebre Vase is most expressive when displayed empty, allowing its silhouette and luminous reliefs to remain fully visible.
