High-Output Crystal Chandelier for Expansive Interiors
The Lalique Orgue Chandelier is a high-performance lighting installation designed to illuminate expansive interiors with exceptional intensity while preserving the visual purity of Studio Andrée Putman’s geometric design.
Its wide 113.5 cm diameter distributes light across a generous area, while the two-tier composition maintains a comparatively controlled vertical profile. This makes the chandelier particularly effective in large reception spaces that require powerful illumination and architectural presence without the extended drop of a tall cascading fixture.
A total of 119 integrated LEDs produces an impressive output of 10,800 lumens. Light travels through the vertical elements of clear crystal, generating the collection’s distinctive rain-shower effect as hundreds of reflections descend through the structure. The silvered finish sharpens the composition with cool metallic definition, reinforcing its contemporary character.
This level of performance is intended for substantial volumes rather than conventional domestic rooms. The chandelier is particularly suited to a hotel reception, luxury retail flagship, large private lounge, corporate entrance, restaurant foyer, gallery-like interior or an exceptional residence with a broad entrance or entertaining area.
The lighting is dimmable by remote control, allowing its remarkable brightness to be adapted to different moments and functions. At full intensity, it provides confident illumination for a busy architectural environment; at a lower setting, the crystal creates a more atmospheric field of reflections for evening events and hospitality settings.
The total suspension height can be specified according to the project, starting from a minimum of 75 cm. This flexibility allows architects and interior designers to coordinate the chandelier with ceiling height, sightlines and furniture layout while preserving the impact of its broad circular form.
