Designer Crystal Table Lamp for Luxury Interiors
Lalique Joueur de Pipeau Lamp transforms one of René Lalique’s celebrated architectural designs into an illuminated crystal sculpture with a compelling connection to the golden age of luxury travel.
Its composition draws inspiration from the Reed Piper panel created in 1928 for the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express, depicting a male figure devoted to Bacchus among flowing vine shoots and stylised grape clusters.
The figurative scene is revealed through clear crystal and a polished steel structure, while 364 integrated LEDs illuminate the relief with exceptional precision, allowing the sculpted contours, botanical details and changing reflections to emerge from within.
Standing 60 cm high and delivering 2,160 lumens, this substantial creation provides both atmospheric illumination and the visual presence of a collectible artwork. It can become an impressive focal point on a console, pedestal or sideboard within a private library or studio, wine room, or sophisticated bar interior.
Designed by Lady Tina Green and Pietro Mingarelli for Lalique Maison and produced as a numbered edition, the Lalique Joueur de Pipeau Lamp is intended for collectors and interior designers seeking lighting that unites history, sculpture and modern LED technology.
