Goddess of Daylight Crystal Wall Sconce

The Lalique Aurora Wall Sconce in clear crystal is named after the goddess of daylight. The design reveals two dragonflies gradually transforming into female figures, positioned on either side of the composition in a poetic fusion of women, fauna and flora.

Its creation requires an exceptionally complex manufacturing process lasting approximately six weeks. During this time, 22 glassmakers work together to shape the heavy mass of molten crystal, combining technical precision with artistic sensitivity. The result is a substantial decorative light that expresses Lalique’s mastery of crystal through depth, purity and carefully modelled detail.
