An Elegant Hermès Tart Platter Inspired by Marine Flora
The Hermès Natures Marines Tart Platter brings Katie Scott’s intricate marine botanical artwork to the table on fine porcelain. Inspired by marine flora found along the shores of Wales and 19th-century botanical illustrations, its delicate composition creates an elegant underwater garden across the surface.
The decoration is screen-printed and applied by hand, while the hand-painted gold trim adds a refined finishing touch, evoking the radiance of sunlight beneath the waves.
With its 32 cm diameter and low 2 cm profile, this platter is designed for presenting tarts, pastries, cakes and other delicate desserts. Its generous circular format makes it ideal for afternoon tea, entertaining and beautifully presented dessert courses.
Part of the Natures Marines collection, it pairs naturally with coordinating dessert plates, tea and coffee service pieces and other serving accessories to create a sophisticated table setting inspired by marine botanical life.
Made in France, this Hermès porcelain tart platter combines Katie Scott’s distinctive artistic vision with fine craftsmanship, creating an elegant serving piece for refined everyday dining and special occasions.
Care Instructions
This fine porcelain piece is decorated with gold that is painted and polished by hand and requires special care. Gilded surfaces are susceptible to scratches due to the delicacy and carat content of the gold. Small wear marks may naturally appear over time, and the gold may develop a natural patina.
Hand wash with a soft, non-abrasive sponge. If needed, use silver polish in moderation to soften signs of wear.
This piece is not microwave safe due to the presence of precious metals.
