The Victoria décor comprising of flowers and butterflies (Herend LVF code) has its origins in the motifs present in the renowned Queen Victoria décor, one of the most ancient and famous examples of Herend porcelain manufacture. The pattern LVF comprises an ensemble of brightly coloured butterflies and flowers, which were one of the favourite subjects of ancient Chinese porcelain painters. A beautiful Chinese peony stands out in the centre, its petals slightly open. Butterflies with rainbow-coloured wings are painted as if flying around the peony, and are interspersed here and there with small stylized flowers. The border presents a bright golden line.
