Hermès Iskender Crystal Design

The Hermès Iskender collection combines traditional crystal craftsmanship with a contemporary approach to form and texture. Each piece is entirely worked by hand before being cut with distinctive flat ribs, creating a precise geometric surface that catches and reflects light across the crystal. Hermès describes the collection through the balance of savoir-faire, delicacy and modernity.

The flat-rib cutting gives Iskender its characteristic visual and tactile identity. The vertical facets create changing reflections as light moves across the surface, while the smooth proportions of the glasses and decanters maintain a refined, contemporary silhouette. This contrast between precise cutting and clear crystal allows the craftsmanship to remain the defining feature of the collection.

The 11-piece Iskender collection extends across different forms for serving water, wine, champagne and spirits, as well as crystal decanters. The range includes water glasses, small and large tumblers, highball glasses, white and red wine glasses, champagne flutes, vodka glasses and decanters, allowing individual pieces to be combined into a coordinated Hermès crystal glassware collection.

The Iskender pieces are made in France. To preserve the original brilliance of the crystal and the precision of the cut surface, Hermès recommends washing the pieces by hand with warm water, a soft sponge and mild detergent.
