Baccarat Modern Crystal Chandelier
The Baccarat Ellipse chandelier designed by Arik Lévy reinterprets the house’s iconic Zénith chandelier, one of its most enduring sources of inspiration, through a contemporary and sculptural lens. Inspired by the appearance of cold-worked crystal, the design explores the material’s perceived malleability, transforming a traditionally structured chandelier into a fluid, evolving form. The composition challenges classical assembly principles: its arms are offset and undergo a visual transformation from round to oval through anamorphosis, creating a dynamic sense of movement. Levy’s Torch collection also reinterprets Baccarat lighting design classics.
Crafted in clear crystal, the designer chandelier demonstrates exceptional artisanal expertise. Its sixteen lights can be complemented with optional white pleated taffeta lampshades (available separately), allowing for further customization of its luminous effect. The structure is fully adjustable in height, making it adaptable to a range of architectural settings.
