The Saint Louis Matrice Floor Lamp Nickel Plated is a tall modern crystal floor light designed to add illumination to living rooms, entrance halls, bedrooms and other spacious interiors. Its freestanding format allows it to be positioned beside a sofa, armchair, console or other furniture.
The clear crystal element has the unusual mould-inspired shape associated with Matrice. Designed by Kiki van Eijk, the collection takes inspiration from the warehouse where Saint Louis keeps the moulds and casts used in its production. Hand-cut diamond and bevel details are applied to the crystal, giving the surface a geometric texture and creating changing reflections as the light passes through it.
A nickel-plated aluminium structure surrounds the crystal, giving this version a cooler metallic character. The combination works particularly well with marble, glass, dark wood and contemporary furniture. Its slim diameter also makes it suitable for placing beside a sofa or in an entrance where floor space is limited. The lamp has a built-in 12W LED source with a warm white colour temperature, making it a perfect gift option for designer lighing solutions.
