“Sommelier” from Puiforcat is a collection that is totally dedicated to wine tasting. The line comprises of three different sampling glasses for wine and Champagne, as well as a completely silverplated water tumbler. The special highlight: All of the conically shaped glasses rest on a silverplated foot and can be raised separately.
Puiforcat is known for reinventing dinner utensils again and again. With “Sommelier”, the French silversmith is now also celebrating the art of wine tasting in a very special way. World-famous sommelier Enrico Bernard and designer Michael Anastassiades worked on this collection with Puiforcat for three years. The result: a remarkable symbiosis between perfect oenology and unique design.
Enrico Bernardo is one of the best sommeliers in the world. In his top Parisian restaurant Il Vino, he shows how the menu is chosen to go with the wine and not vice-versa. Designer Michael Anastassiades’ minimalistic creations have, for example, earned a place in the collections of New York’s MoMa and the Victoria & Albert museum.
